Draughtsman - M&E

Position: Draughtsman - M&E (Permanent, Contract)
M&E CAD Draughtsman required, would consider permanent or freelance status
Our client, a £150m turnover building main contractor, is currently looking to recruit an experienced M&E CAD Draught man. They have secure a £multi-million prime residential fit out in the heart of Mayfair and require a talented M&E CAD Draughtsman.
They are looking to recruit an experienced M&E CAD draughtsman who will perform a variety of design/drafting activities:

* Develop detailed 2D drawings, plans, and layouts based on design requirements and specifications.

* Proficiently use AutoCAD software to produce accurate and high-quality technical drawings.

* Work closely with engineers, architects, designers, and other team members to understand project requirements and provide technical support.

* Verify that drawings meet industry standards, technical specifications, and quality control requirements.

* Organize and manage drawing files, project documentation, and other relevant records.

* Identify and resolve issues or discrepancies in drawings, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

* Create installation and manufacturing documentation as required.

* Converting customer specification into detailed productions drawings (AutoCAD)

* Production of manufacturing drawing / cutting lists

* Assistance with the management of an existing and growing standard library of details.

* Communication with other departments.
The successful CAD Draughtsman will have proficient knowledge of AutoCAD, producing 2D and ideally 3D models.

* Background and 5 years work experience working as a M&E CAD Draught man

* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
