M&E Building Services Planner – Deliver Complex Mechanical & Electrical Projects in London!

Our client, a leading M&E Engineering contractor in London, is expanding rapidly and on track to achieve a turnover of £60 million. To support this growth, they are seeking a talented M&E Planner to join their dynamic pre-construction and project planning team.
Important:
This role requires specific experience in Mechanical & Electrical Building Services. Applications from candidates with only general construction planning experience will not be considered.

The Role
You will play a key role in planning complex M&E installations for high-profile commercial and data centre projects. The ideal candidate will have:
 
* Strong experience in planning M&E Building Services projects.
 
* Excellent knowledge of Primavera P6 or Asta Power project.
 
* Ability to develop and manage detailed programmes for large-scale projects.
What You'll Be Doing
 
* Develop, monitor, and update detailed project programmes for mechanical and electrical installations.
 
* Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and site teams to ensure realistic timelines and resource allocation.
 
* Analyse project requirements, identify critical paths, and set key milestones.
 
* Use planning software (Primavera P6 / Asta Power project) to produce accurate schedules.
 
* Provide regular progress reports and advise on potential delays or risks.
What You'll Need
 
* Minimum 5 years’ experience as an M&E Planner within Mechanical & Electrical Building Services (not general construction).
 
* Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems in commercial environments.
 
* Proficiency in Primavera P6 or Asta Power project.
 
* Excellent organisational skills and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
