Graduate Civil Engineer – 2026 - London

As a Graduate Civil Engineer, you will become part of our Building team, delivering award-winning public-sector projects including Bath Spa University, the Royal London Hospital, and Bristol schools. In the private sector, we focus on commercial and mixed-use buildings. Our London expertise has contributed to a portfolio featuring some of the capital’s most iconic landmarks, such as The Gherkin and Heron Tower.

- Plan and produce methodologies for mobilising and setting up sections of work
- Utilise surveying skills to set out details for construction
- Work with subcontractors to ensure the timely preparation and implementation of Risk Assessments & Method Statements, Inspection Test Plans, Permits & Consents
- Site coordination and logistical planning to enable works to be carried out safely
- Identify the needs for temporary works and completing temporary work designs working with the temporary works team
- Maintain a high standard of Quality Control and Quality Assurance records, including managing Non-Conformance Reports and Early Warning Notices
- Produce accurate and detailed daily diaries for your work areas
- Work collaboratively with enabling teams, for example in Traffic Management, Earthworks, Utilities and Community Relations
- Complete environmental risk assessments for works and assist in managing works activities in an ecologically sensitive manner
- You are in your final year of achieving an ICE accredited degree in Civil Engineering, or have recently graduated
- Enthusiastic about learning, personal and professional growth
- Able to take information from drawings to implement efficient planning services to the business
- Able to communicate complex information to a wide range of audiences
- You have a strong interest in innovation, sustainability and making a positive impact
- You work collaboratively towards shared goals and targets
- You are motivated to work in site-based environment
- You will join a community of 100+ graduates and apprentices, with opportunities to build networks and collaborate across the business
