Your role will include developing, maintaining, and closing project schedules with clear work breakdown structures (WBS Levels 1-4), integrating subcontractor schedules, resource loading for earned value management, and producing detailed planning reports (milestones, lookaheads, critical path, S-curves, and variances). You will identify critical activities and assist project managers in recovery and what-if scenarios.

You will work closely with engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning teams, clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring realistic and achievable schedules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain Primavera P6 project schedules with accurate WBS and logic.
  • Integrate subcontractor schedules into master schedules.
  • Apply resource loading and earned value management techniques.
  • Produce regular reports: milestones, lookaheads, S-curves, critical path, float, variances, and resource forecasts.
  • Identify critical/near-critical activities and communicate risks promptly.
  • Support claims management and schedule-based earned value reporting.
  • Maintain strong client and third-party relationships, including site assessments.
Requirements
  • Minimum HNC or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
  • Strong experience with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Proven site-based construction project planning experience in mechanical, process, energy, or petrochemical sectors.
  • Good understanding of contract types, permit systems, and quality standards.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Willingness to travel to client and site locations across the UK.
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary and benefits.
  • Opportunity to work on high-profile industrial projects.
  • Supportive and dynamic team environment.
  • Ongoing professional development and training.
