We are currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to work for a main contractor based in Reigate. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to who is looking to progress within the civil engineering industry with a contractor who are continuing to expand within their core sectors, Civil Rail, Electification and Substations.

Candidate Profile

• Degree/ HND/ HNC Qualified in Quantity Surveying & Commercial Management (or working towards)
• Experience with in Civil Engineering sectors is essential, preferably within a rail environment
• Experience working on NEC forms of contract
• Be able to travel to Reigate on a daily basis, with travel also to London and Sites around London when required
• Full Clean UK Driving Licence
• Eligibe to live and work permanently in the UK

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Support the commercial team with running of various projects
• Assist with sub contract procurement
• Managing existing sub contractors
• Attending CVR Meetings
• Client liaison
• Monthly Reports
• Working closely with operational teams to secure best commercial result
