A leading international data centre developer is seeking an experienced Senior Design Manager to support the delivery of large-scale, mission-critical data centre projects across EMEA. Based in Dubai, this role will play a key part in the design leadership of hyperscale and enterprise data centre developments. The Role You will take ownership of the design management function from concept through to construction and handover, ensuring technical excellence, programme alignment, and compliance with international standards.

• Leading and coordinating multidisciplinary design teams (architectural, MEP, structural, specialist vendors)
• Managing the design process across all project stages, from feasibility to IFC and construction support
• Ensuring designs meet performance, resilience, sustainability, and regulatory requirements
• Acting as the key technical interface between internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and clients
• Managing design risk, value engineering, and change control
• Supporting procurement and contractor engagement from a design perspective
• Ensuring alignment with global data centre design standards and best practices

• Proven experience as a Senior Design Manager / Design Manager on large-scale data centre or other mission-critical projects
• Strong background in MEP-led buildings (data centres, life sciences, critical infrastructure, or complex commercial projects)
• Excellent understanding of data centre design principles, including power, cooling, redundancy, and resilience
• Experience working on international projects, ideally in the Middle East
• Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
• Degree-qualified in Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline (chartership preferred but not essential)
