Role Responsibilities
  • Lead technical analysis and design for overhead transmission line projects in the region.
  • Work directly with utilities, EPCs, and consulting firms to define technical problems and provide optimized solutions, especially for capacity uprate and system upgrade projects.
  • Join BD/management meetings with senior utility stakeholders, provide technical support and translate client needs into engineering solutions.
  • Work closely with our Global CTO and headquarters technical team to develop design concepts, feasibility studies, technical proposals, and application engineering packages.
  • Provide technical evaluation for pilot projects, including line modelling, design optimisation, feasibility, and risk assessment.
  • Prepare or review technical documents: line design analysis, drawings, reports, specifications, and proposal inputs.
  • Support proposal/bid preparation together with headquarters and regional leadership.
  • Act as the technical owner for the region and gradually grow into the regional CTO/chief engineer role depending on performance.
  • Coordinate external engineering consultants where needed and ensure quality of deliverables.
  • Support early-stage project delivery coordination once pilot projects are launched.
    • Candidate Requirements
    • Solid background in overhead transmission line design (HV/EHV OHTL).
    • Ability to define problems, create design options, and deliver technically sound solutions.
    • Hands‑on design capability still willing to do real engineering work, not purely management.
    • Able to participate in high‑level meetings with utilities and explain technical concepts clearly.
