Executive Engineer, Mechanical

Job Description

• Design and perform calculations for mechanical engineering works, including ACMV, fire protection systems, and plumbing and sanitary systems
• Conduct technical feasibility studies, life cycle analyses, and planning for building engineering projects
• Prepare comprehensive study reports, design reports, technical notes, and public consultation papers
• Develop detailed tender documents and technical specifications for projects
• Evaluate tenders and prepare thorough tender assessment reports
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and timely delivery
• Provide support in project management and contract administration for building engineering contracts
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive innovation in mechanical engineering solutions
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations in Singapore

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on design experience in building and/or infrastructure projects
• Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD and Solid Works
• Strong knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and local building codes in Singapore
• Excellent project management and technical skills
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative team
• Outstanding problem‑solving and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  
  Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and meet deadlines
• Familiarity with sustainable design principles and energy‑efficient systems is a plus
