Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 (depending on experience) + Benefits (Pension, Healthcare, Life Insurance)
Contracting Option:
Available (day rate to be agreed)
Hours:
Full-time, Permanent (8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday-Friday)
- System Design and Implementation
- Develop and deploy communication system architectures and assets to meet project requirements, including hardware configuration and validation in a laboratory environment.
- Conduct on-site testing & commissioning and provide final handover to the client.
- Deliverables
- Review and understand project requirements; develop design material through the dedicated project gates.
- Develop design material in accordance with specific delivery plans and provide it in a timely manner to allow for internal review and formal issue.
- Maintain detailed records of renditions and tracking of changes in alignment with project procedures in accordance with BS19650.
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions with other systems, third parties, and stakeholders.
- Provide technical support and guidance for team members, respond to queries, and produce O+M information and handover material.
- Work alongside the CAD team and ensure that detailed CAD representation is produced and presented correctly in PDF format for formal submission.
- Provide research and calculations to validate design material, ensuring compliance with standards and project requirements.
Formal IT or site craft qualifications ideally to degree or NVQ level.
Product CertificationsCertifications such as Network Specialist, acoustic modelling, video surveillance, analogue or digital data mediums.
Knowledge of Software Specific ToolsProficiency in Microsoft Office, ideally knowledge relating to RAMS, EMC, HF, Cyber Security, Health & Safety, and HAZID control measures.
Hands‑On ExperienceComfortable working in an inclusive team office environment.
Experience in working on a range of large integrated projects and an enthusiasm to undertake any task as required.
Familiarity with legacy analogue equipment preferred; some site installation commissioning experience would be advantageous.
Security ClearanceThe successful candidate will be expected to pass government-level security DBS clearance checks (e.g., no criminal record).
Drugs and Alcohol TestingDue to the environment and safety‑related nature of the systems involved in our projects, regular drugs and alcohol testing is required; candidates will be expected to undertake testing as requested.
