Lead Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Static Hospital Site

£50,000 + Overtime | Monday–Friday | No Call-Out | No Travel

We are recruiting a Lead Mechanical Engineer to take technical ownership of mechanical services on a single, static hospital site in Hammersmith. This is a senior, hands‑on role within a critical healthcare environment
, combining complex mechanical maintenance with leadership, compliance and oversight responsibilities.

This position suits an experienced mechanical engineer ready to step into a site lead role without shifts, call‑out or mobile working.

• Salary up to £50,000 plus overtime

• Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm (days only)

• Static hospital site – no travel, no van

• No call‑out or shift rota

• Long‑term, secure contract within healthcare FM

• Ongoing training and development (AP / compliance supported)

• Strong CBRE support structure and on‑site team

• Lead mechanical PPM and reactive maintenance across the hospital estate

• Act as technical point of contact for mechanical systems

• Supervise and support mechanical engineers and subcontractors

• Oversee works on AHUs, LTHW/MTHW, pumps, valves, FCUs, calorifiers and PHEs

• Ensure compliance with healthcare standards, permits and safe systems of work

• Support audits, reporting and client liaison

• NVQ / C&G Level 3 in Mechanical or Building Services (or equivalent experience)

• Strong background in hospital, healthcare or critical environments

• Previous lead, senior or supervisory experience

• Solid understanding of compliance and estates operations
