About the Role:BMS Project Engineer
Based within a dynamic project delivery team, the BMS Project Engineer will play a key role in delivering controller and supervisor upgrades, energy enhancement initiatives, software modifications, and small fit-out works. You’ll be involved throughout the full project lifecycle – from design and documentation through to commissioning and commercial management.
This role suits an experienced BMS professional who enjoys technical responsibility, project ownership, and working closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Responsibilities- Controller and supervisor upgrades to modernise control systems and improve reliability
- Engineering support for small construction and fit-out works
- Review drawings, specifications, and estimates to produce comprehensive BMS design documentation
- Conduct site surveys to support detailed project designs
- Prepare documentation in line with company standards
- Develop, configure, and test BMS software and graphics in line with approved submittals
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and health & safety policies
- Produce project completion certificates and O&M documentation
- Review and analyse supplier and subcontractor quotations prior to project commencement
- Minimum 4 years’ experience within the BMS industry
- Strong background in BMS design, engineering, and commissioning
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Strong technical awareness with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Functional knowledge of CAD
- Self‑motivated, responsible, and customer‑focused approach
- £60,000 – £75,000 salary (dependent on experience)
