We are currently in the market to recruit multiple Wastewater (Hydraulic) Modellers into our London Team for a variety of major long‑term frameworks across the UK.

RPS Water Consulting is a team of Engineers, Modellers, and Data Analysts providing Asset Management and Operational Strategy development, to our Water Industry clients to support business planning and delivery.

This is an evolving industry, providing challenges and opportunities that require innovation, dedication, and teamwork to help us meet our clients’ needs.

Our Water Consultancy business has a range of prestigious AMP8 programmes leading into AMP9 and beyond, where you’ll be securing your career for the next 20 years, leaving a lasting legacy!

As a key member of the Water Consultancy business, your role as a Wastewater (Hydraulic) Modeller is critical to helping us deliver great projects for our Water Industry clients.

You will be working alongside a multi-disciplinary team of water project experts on a range of capital delivery projects.

You will have a substantial opportunity to contribute towards optioneering, outline, and detailed design expertise across various frameworks. Our scope of work encompasses a wide range of technically demanding projects in the field of Wastewater Infrastructure.

• Construct, verify, and maintain various levels of wastewater models.
• Deliver feasibility studies, model use studies, optioneering, and development assessments for wastewater networks.
• Ensure quality of modelling outputs and compliance with standards, specifications, and governance requirements.
• Project management of small projects.
• Maintain strong and collaborative working relationships and interactions with clients.
• Cooperate and communicate effectively with other team members to provide technical support and assistance.
• Operate in accordance with the corporate health and safety, environmental, and quality standards.

• Experience in modelling for a consultancy or water company.
• Proficiency in Excel and Visual Basic.
• Proficient in modelling software using Info Works ICM and associated bolt‑on packages.
• Working knowledge of GIS Systems (preferably Map Info, ArcGIS, QGIS).
• Skilled in the manipulation and handling of large datasets.
• Experience in discipline-specific data analysis packages, such as Info Works or Info Asset.
• General understanding of the UK water industry.
• Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills.

• Preferably degree qualified in a relevant technical subject. Postgraduate qualifications are an advantage.
