The Role

My Client is seeking an experienced M&E Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to support ongoing projects for a key long-term client. This is a critical role within the business, responsible for cost management, estimating and commercial control across a range of M&E packages.

You will work closely with project managers, engineers and senior stakeholders across both pre- and post-contract stages.

Key Responsibilities

* Preparing accurate M&E estimates and tender submissions

* Producing take-offs from drawings and specifications

* Cost planning, budgeting and financial reporting

* Managing variations, valuations and final accounts

* Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing

* Supporting commercial performance throughout the project lifecycle

About You

* Proven experience as an M&E Estimator or Quantity Surveyor

* Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical building services

* Commercially astute with excellent attention to detail

* Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications

* Strong communication and organisational skills

* Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
