As a EV Project Engineer
, you will play a key role in managing multiple projects – from estimating and providing solutions and design to working closely with stakeholders across the business and externally with clients on technical requirements.

Pod is the trusted charging partner for leading automotive brands such as Mercedes, Jaguar Land Rover, BMW, and Kia; home builders Barratt and Bellway; and retail giants including Tesco. Our smart charging solutions support EV drivers, help balance the grid, lower costs, and make clean energy accessible to everyone.

• Deliver solutions and estimates for the Pod Sales Team and external clients.
• Ensure customer requirements are met through design.
• Ensure compliance with CDM regulations.
• Act as the key liaison between field engineers, project managers and account managers to ensure solutions are designed, costed, and prepared for construction.
• Prepare handover documentation for won projects.
• Support the project management team throughout the delivery stage.

• Experienced managing multiple projects with varying complexity and value.
• Proficient in a variety of design software including Amtech/Trimble and AutoCAD.
• Experience with DNO/IDNO.
• Excellent stakeholder management and direct client experience.
• Solution oriented with a confident level of technical know-how to offer solutions and ensure compliance.
• Knowledge and application of BS 7671, 18th edition.
• Passionate about the EV industry and developing a career within it.
