My client is seeking a talented Hardware Systems Integration Engineer to join their growing start up team, working on cutting-edge interactive display systems for public-facing environments such as museums, exhibitions, and experiential installations. You will coordinate the integration of mechanical, electronic, and display technologies into cohesive prototypes that bring future experiences to life.

• Coordinate the integration of large-scale hardware systems, including mechanical props, embedded electronics, and display technologies, into functional feasibility prototypes
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to embed display systems into physical props (e.g., animatronics, sculptural elements) enabling synchronized motion and visual interaction
• Translate technical requirements across hardware, software, and spatial design domains to ensure system compatibility and performance
• Build systems that convincingly demonstrate future deploy ability in public-facing environments
• Work closely with hardware engineers and experimentalists to validate simulations and algorithms in real-world setups
• Support IP generation through novel algorithm development and comprehensive technical documentation
• Stay current with advances in computational imaging, graphics, and acoustics to inspire new directions for the team
• Communicate technical concepts clearly within a multidisciplinary team, providing input into software architecture, research planning, and technical demonstrations

• Strong understanding of mechatronics and physical system deployment
• Experience managing installations or deployments in public-facing environments
• Experience working with exhibit designers or museum technologists
• Familiarity with embedded electronics, mechanical assemblies, and control systems
• Great communication skills
