Senior Mechanical Engineer – Ramboll

Senior Mechanical Engineer – Building Services team, Ramboll.

Join our multi-disciplinary 'Industry and Infrastructure Facilities Service Line' and work on a global portfolio of Rail, Aviation, Ports, Data Centres, Industrial, Logistics, advanced manufacturing and automotive sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take a key role representing Ramboll on MEP projects, leading your own discipline and (for suitably sized projects) managing engineers of a complimentary discipline.
  • Work using your own initiative with minimal supervision on all technical aspects of your discipline or have specific specialist experience applicable to the role.
  • Complete detailed designs and supervise the work of others in this function.
  • Inspire confidence both internally and externally, strengthening client relationships.
  • Manage time on projects to meet deadlines and complete assigned tasks.
  • Where you are the project manager, coordinate tasks so all deadlines are met and allocate resources appropriately.
About You

Qualifications & Skills
  • Qualified Engineer with a proven, demonstrable track record in your discipline.
  • Having a CIBSE / IET / IMechE Engineering Council accredited honours degree, or an HNC in an applicable discipline with commitment to continue with higher education.
  • Accredited or working toward IEng or CEng status.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and have specialist experience applicable to the role.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to simplify complex concepts.
  • Interest in or experience using digital and parametric design tools.
