Moving fluidly between CAD and the laboratory, you will own the development of bespoke motion systems and microcontroller integrations, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to prototype and scale next‑generation physical infrastructure for the cloud.

• Design and build bespoke, high‑precision mechanical systems from scratch rather than integrating off‑the‑shelf components.

• Work on world‑positive technology aimed at radically reducing the environmental impact of global data infrastructure.

• Design and develop precision electromechanical subsystems and bespoke motion control architectures.
• Integrate complex motion systems with microcontrollers, sensors, and actuators for high‑performance automation.
• Lead technical prototyping in the lab, diagnosing and debugging electromechanical and control system challenges.

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical or mechatronics engineering within high‑tech R&D or product environments.
• Expert‑level 3D CAD skills with hands‑on prototyping experience in machining, 3D printing, and assembly.
• Strong background in mechanical fundamentals including kinematics, tolerancing, and embedded microcontrollers.
