Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center.

As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting‑edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

Joining the Technical Operations team, you will be at the sharp end of deploying and supporting Anduril’s cutting‑edge unmanned aircraft systems (UAS). Collaborating closely with the Mission Operations team, you will play a pivotal role in the early stages of product life cycles, including live demonstrations, training, and customer deployments. As a Technical Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for mastering, maintaining, and operating a comprehensive suite of unmanned aircraft systems globally, mostly quadcopters.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to plan and lead successful operational and test events, conducting pre‑flight briefings and post‑flight debriefings.
  • Deploy globally operating BOLT to ensure mission success.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and the willingness to pivot to other functions as required by shifting organizational priorities or urgent mission needs.
Required Qualifications
  • Proficiency in mechanical and technical tasks with a strong grasp of tools and electronics.
  • Understanding of basic computer networking concepts.
  • Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational and communication abilities.
  • Ability to independently master and support complex technical systems in challenging environments.
  • Substantial hands‑on technical experience in field operations, manufacturing, or testing.

  • Proven problem‑solving skills at the intersection of hardware, software, and operations, with a focus on mission success.
  • Experience in collaborating with cross‑functional engineering teams and external customers.
  • Ability to perform data‑driven root cause analysis on complex systems.
  • Strong computer proficiency and documentation skills.
  • Experience in training others on hardware products.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, including up to one month deployments.
  • Eligibility to obtain relevant aviation certifications and full medical clearance.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain UK security clearance.
  • Open to learning and working on other Anduril platforms.
  • Willing to travel to remote and austere environments.
