What Youll Be Doing as Compliance Engineer
- Maintain and administer the RAMS process across the service team and carry out regular vehicle inspections and audits for technicians
- Ensure technicians comply with PPE and tool standards and monitor calibration and PAT testing of all technical tools
- Conduct safety audits across customer sites
- Keep the customer portal up to date with service information
- Support the preparation of RFI and PQQ submissions
- Create, implement, and monitor training programs for technicians and apprentices
- Record and track technician audits using internal systems such as Evalu8
- Oversee service concession requests and approvals and ensure consistent adherence to quality service standards
- Review service documentation and ensure compliance across the business, log and maintain updates to compliance documentation
- Support senior management in implementing compliance initiatives
- Monitor health, safety, environmental, and operational compliance and assist in auditing processes and report findings
- Identify potential areas for process improvement and corrective actions and collaborate with regional service teams to ensure standardised procedures
- Work closely with engineers and project managers to maintain compliance and support internal and external audits for quality, safety, and service standards
- Maintain accurate records of compliance actions and audits and ensure consistency in operational procedures and service delivery
- Guide technicians on compliance and safety best practices and liaise with clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies as required
- Maintain knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, and best practices and track and monitor preventative and corrective actions
- Provide advice and support on compliance queries and contribute to continuous improvement of service delivery and processes
- Support the implementation of new compliance tools and initiatives and deliver reporting and updates on compliance performance to senior management
- Ensure service activities are aligned with company policies and standards
- Previous experience in a compliance, technical support, or audit role is beneficial
- HVAC or related technical service experience preferred
- Ambitious and eager to build a career in HVAC and refrigeration
- Confident, proactive, and solution-focused with strong communication and organisational skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and willing to learn new technical skills
- Comfortable travelling to support multiple sites across the UK
- Competitive salary £40,000
