Power System Engineer

Power System Engineer for a major Offshore Wind Project based in England.

• Create and validate EMT and RMS models for relevant assets (e.g., WTG, PPC, STATCOM, as applicable).
• Plan and execute design and Grid Code compliance studies, small disturbances and fault scenarios.
• Draft clear, audit-ready technical documentation for internal review and external compliance; contribute to grid-connection work streams.
• Interface with OEMs on model provisioning, validation, and parameterization.
• Summarize findings, recommend mitigations, and ensure quality in line with the clients standards across multiple projects.

• Degree in Electrical / Power Systems Engineering (BEng / MSc / PhD) or equivalent.
• At least 5 years' hands‑on experience with PSCAD for EMT studies, including applicable add-ons and analysis modules, plus required experience with DIgSILENT Power Factory covering steady‑state and RMS analyses.
• Experience working with vendor models and parameterization for compliance.
• Scripting / automation skills for workflows and post-processing.
• Experience coordinating with OEMs for model delivery, validation, and updates. strong data confidentiality practices
• Strong communication skills; able to produce clear reports and stakeholder materials
