Falcon Green is partnering with an award-winning and forward-thinking contractor renowned for delivering complex, large-scale industrial projects across mainland Europe. Due to continued expansion, they are seeking a driven and hands-on Electrical Engineer to join their growing team on a high-specification Data Centre project in Helsinki, Finland.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for a technically strong and proactive engineer who is eager to build a long-term career within the rapidly expanding Data Centre sector. You will be part of a supportive, collaborative team and work closely with a top-tier client that places strong emphasis on training, development, and internal progression.

Electrical Engineer Responsibilities- Maintain clear and accurate reporting to monitor progress and ensure alignment with key project milestones.
- Review design and IFC specifications and drawings to gain a full understanding of the project scope.
- Lead coordination activities to produce accurate installation drawings, working closely with BIM teams to ensure compliance and programme adherence.
- Support on-site quality control, ensuring all works meet required technical, regulatory, and project standards.
- Review subcontractor and supplier tenders to confirm alignment with technical and design requirements.
- Ensure engineering activities, including procurement, are delivered in line with the project programme.
- Prepare, submit, and manage all technical submittals in accordance with project requirements.
- Ensure all installations comply with project specifications and the QA plan.
- Coordinate subcontractor activities to maintain progress and clear communication, including recording minutes from weekly meetings.
- Promote the adoption of best practices to improve project scheduling and delivery efficiency.
- Liaise with the Project Quantity Surveyor to compile and prepare tender documentation for subcontractors and suppliers.
- 5-7 years' experience within the electrical contracting industry, ideally with a recognised contractor.
- Strong organisational skills with proven experience in project planning and coordination.
- Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in Navisworks and engineering-related database systems.
- Experience using project planning tools such as Primavera, along with a solid understanding of CAD and BIM workflows.
