MWP is an established multi‑disciplinary engineering and environmental consultancy with offices in London and throughout Ireland. We are looking for a Senior Civil Water Services Engineer to join our growing Water Services Team.

Role:

• Oversee and prepare Preliminary design reports for Private and Public Clients, including D+B Contracts.
• Prepare detailed tender documents, scope of works, specifications and pricing documents.
• Supervise and administer contracts for Water Services projects throughout the UK.

Successful candidate must have:

• Minimum 8+ years postgraduate experience in Civil Engineering.
• Chartered status attainment or working toward it.
• Experience in a wide variety of Water Services Projects: network design, pumping stations, WWTP, rising mains and fire protection.
• Experience working with Irish and/or UK Water Authorities.
• Experience using Micro‑drainage/Causeway, Civil 3D and GIS or similar.
• Knowledge of government/public contracts such as NEC and FIDIC.
• Advantage: flood risk management, fluvial hydraulic modelling or hydrology.
• Current experience leading, managing and running civil engineering design projects, preferably in consulting.
• Excellent knowledge and experience of current codes of practice and design standards.
• Proactive communicator with ability to lead in a multidisciplinary project team.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines.
