We are seeking a multi-faceted Façade Engineer
, for our prestigious client, with a strong structural background who can take ownership of projects from concept to delivery. This role requires someone who is not only structurally competent but also commercially and client-focused, capable of representing the business confidently in meetings and on-site. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work independently
, managing priorities and driving projects forward with minimal supervision.

• Produce engineering analysis and structural engineering calculations on projects.
• Deliver and review structural and façade design calculations.
• Create programs and spreadsheets for automated calculation.
• Create standard calculations within TEDDS.
• Lead and project manage façade engineering projects from inception to completion.
• Attend and chair meetings with clients, architects, contractors, and design teams.
• Review, adapt, and coordinate drawings and technical documentation.
• Conduct site visits to assess installation quality and resolve technical challenges.
• Contribute to business development, identifying opportunities and supporting proposal preparation.
• Collaborate across disciplines to ensure design integration and performance compliance.

• Experienced in façade engineering with a solid understanding of structural principles.
• Comfortable taking the lead role in client and internal meetings.
• Able to balance technical, managerial, and commercial responsibilities.
• Demonstrates initiative, flexibility, and a proactive approach to project challenges.
• Ability to work independently

• The role requires good practical and technical structural engineering knowledge and experience.
• A master’s degree (MSc) in a relevant Engineering field is essential.
• A relevant Chartership would be an advantage (IStruct
  
  E, CIBSE, ICE).
• The candidate should also have a good knowledge of facade materials, products, manufacturing methods and construction methods.
