Industrial Designer

Hands-on product design role shaping real products in Poole, Dorset , offering £40,000 £ 45,000 plus bonus and strong benefits. This is a chance to own live client projects end to end, working in a close-knit consultancy focused on getting products manufactured, not just imagined.

• Lead physical product development from concept to production release
• Produce manufacturing-ready Solid Works CAD, drawings, and assemblies
• Design mechanisms including snap-fits, clips, fasteners, and moving parts
• Run client design reviews and communicate technical trade-offs clearly
• Support prototyping, testing, iteration, and supplier handover

• Proven experience as an Industrial Designer delivering physical products to manufacture
• Advanced Solid Works capability covering assemblies, mechanisms, and production drawings
• Strong understanding of plastic injection moulding and DFM constraints
• Confident client-facing communicator running reviews and technical discussions
• Background in consultancy, product design engineering, or hands‑on NPD environments

• £40,000 £ 45,000 basic salary
