Senior Design Engineer

A leading global engineering company is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with a solid background in precision engineering and machinery design to join their dynamic and innovative team due to an increase in projects!

The role involves leading all aspects of mechanical design for complex machinery, from conceptual to detailed design, ensuring compliance with the Machinery Directive. Typical duties include 3D CAD, creating project specifications, timelines, and risk assessments (including FMEA) and managing workloads. The successful Mechanical Design Engineers will ideally have experience with GD&T, knowledge of hydraulics / pneumatics and an understandings of engineering calculations.

• HNC / D or Degree Level in a Mechanical Engineering
• 3D CAD
• Inventor (or similar)
• Special Purpose Machinery or Industrial Equipment design experience
• GD&T
