The Role

As a Senior Product Design Engineer at Nothing, you’ll be central to shaping the look and feel of our products and will work from our small studio in Kings Cross, London. You’ll be embedded within the Industrial Design Team, and will use your expertise in engineering, materials, and manufacturing, as well as your sensitivity for design, to realise our product concepts and defend our vision throughout the product development process.

And As a Product Design Engineer Also Expect
  • Proven experience in high‑volume consumer electronics design engineering at system and component levels
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a highly design‑driven environment
  • Excellent CAD proficiency (NX preferred)
  • Experience in prototyping (3D printing, CNC, vacuum forming, laser cutting, etc.)
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and mechanical intuition
  • Demonstrated consumer electronics engineering skills: mechanics, material science, mechanism design, design for assembly, tolerance analysis, reliability, FMEA
  • Extensive experience in designing parts suitable for a wide range of production techniques, including plastic & metal injection moulding, forming, stamping, extrusion, and machining processes
  • Availability to travel internationally
