Water Treatment Engineer - Canary Wharf - 36k + Overtime
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

We are currently seeking a skilled Water Treatment Engineer to join a critical site in Canary Wharf. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading company in a vital and dynamic industry, maintaining high standards of water treatment on a state-of-the-art facility.
Key Responsibilities- Conducting routine water quality monitoring, sampling, and testing to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Performing chemical treatments and adjustments to maintain the efficiency and safety of water systems.
- Carrying out Legionella risk assessments and implementing control measures as per L8 guidelines.
- Regular inspection and maintenance of water treatment plant systems, including cooling towers, boilers, and closed systems.
- Ensuring all systems are functioning within legal and environmental requirements, documenting actions and findings.
- Completing and maintaining accurate records of maintenance, water quality checks, and treatments.
- Responding to emergency situations related to water systems and providing timely resolutions.
- Collaborating with the wider facilities management team to ensure smooth site operations.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Valid L8 Water Treatment Qualification (Legionella Control).
- Previous experience in water treatment engineering, ideally within a commercial or critical site environment.
- Strong knowledge of water systems, chemical treatments, and compliance standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing time and priorities efficiently.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Competitive salary of £35,000.
