Head of Engineering (M/F) You will lead all engineering activities across the company, ensuring the successful execution of Thrust Me’s technical roadmap.

As a pioneer in advanced in-orbit propulsion solutions for satellites, we became the first in the world to demonstrate an iodine‑fuelled electric propulsion system in space. We are now looking for a Head of Engineering to lead our engineering activities and drive the execution of our technical roadmap.

As Head of Engineering
, you will lead all engineering activities across the company, ensuring the successful execution of Thrust Me’s technical roadmap. You will manage and mentor a team of engineers, oversee the full product development lifecycle and ensure the future reliability, quality, and performance of our products. You will also be responsible for organizing in-orbit demonstration campaigns and maintaining our technical knowledge base.

This is a central and highly strategic role that combines team leadership, technical excellence, and hands‑on problem solving to support Thrust Me’s rapid scale‑up and industrial ambitions.

• Lead Thrust Me’s engineering activities and ensure the execution of the technical roadmap.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a growing team of engineers, ensuring continuous learning and high performance.
• Organize and conduct all in‑orbit demonstration campaigns, focusing on mission readiness and technical success.
• Deliver product documentation, qualification package and operational hardware system to the Product team for further industrialization.
• Build, structure, and maintain the company’s technical knowledge base and associated documentation.
• Provide high‑level technical expertise to support company needs across functions.
• Ensure effective coordination with Production, Quality, and Product teams to deliver products on time and to specification.
• Collaborate with the Product Team and oversee product development cycle.
• Provide regular reporting to the CTO on project progress, risks, and strategic priorities.

• 8–12 years of engineering experience, ideally in electric propulsion, aerospace, high‑tech hardware, or other deep‑tech industrial sectors.
• Proven track record in leading engineering teams and delivering complex products from concept to industrialization.
• Strong systems engineering mindset and experience working with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands‑on technical problem solving.
• Comfortable working under pressure and managing critical project milestones (tests, in‑orbit demos, industrialization phases).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical teams.
• Passionate about innovation and motivated by working in a fast‑scaling, science‑ and engineering‑driven environment.
• Fluent in English;
  French is an asset.
