The project scope includes planning, design, integration and delivery of major airfield infrastructure, buildings, systems and associated periphery infrastructure.

Job Summary:

In this position, you will lead the planning team to manage the entire set of planning activities for assigned projects. You will identify schedule trends, analyze data to provide innovative solutions to scheduling challenges, ensure schedule updates are completed on time, and be responsible for reporting requirements. Your leadership will be essential in driving scheduling efficiency and project success.

"This position is designated as part-time telework per our global telework policy and may require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership." /b

Major Responsibilities:
  • Manage all planning activities for the entirety of the project, including Level 1, 3, and 4 schedules
  • Identify schedule trends for management attention
  • Analyse data to provide innovative solutions to scheduling challenges
  • Ensure schedule updates are completed by the team in time to support project reporting requirements
  • Responsible for reporting schedule curves, narrative, contingency, corporate schedule metrics, and any other project specific reporting requirements
  • Supports project organizational and administrative activities
  • Support the Project Team in coordinating, monitoring and assuring design and construction activities performed by third-party contractors.
  • Review and assess construction schedules, interfaces, method statements, inspection and test plans, and other technical documents for compliance with design intent and standards.
  • Support readiness reviews, inspections, and commissioning of airfield assets.
  • Coordinate with all members of the project team including design, quality, and safety teams to ensure consistent application of project standards.
  • Promote Bechtel’s zero-incident safety culture and adherence to airport operational safety procedures.
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline and over 20 years of relevant construction planning and scheduling experience.
  • Solid understanding of planning and scheduling and QSRA Methods including expert use of P6 and other planning tools airfield construction techniques, materials, and sequencing.
  • Familiarity with relevant aviation standards and regulations (CAA, ICAO, EASA).
