Senior Acoustic Consultant — Salary: £45,000 to £55,000 – Surrey

An established and highly regarded acoustic consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Acoustic Consultant to join their growing team in Surrey
. With a long track record of delivering innovative solutions across the UK and internationally, the consultancy offers a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious consultant to progress toward Principal level.

As a Senior Acoustic Consultant
, you will work on a wide range of projects, including residential, commercial, education, and healthcare developments. Based in Surrey
, you’ll take responsibility for managing client relationships, leading project delivery, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring all work meets the highest technical and regulatory standards.

• Leading acoustic assessments and design across multiple sectors
• Building strong client relationships and delivering expert technical guidance
• Applying knowledge of BB93, BS8233, and Approved Document E
• Supporting and mentoring junior colleagues within the Surrey office
• Preparing detailed reports and ensuring compliance with industry standards

• 5+ years’ experience in acoustic consultancy
• Strong expertise in building acoustics and environmental noise assessments
• Proficiency in software such as Cadna
  
  A, ODEON, or SoundPLAN
• Excellent client liaison, project management, and technical reporting skills
• Degree in Acoustics, Engineering, Physics, or related discipline
• Full UK driving licence (preferred)

• Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 (DOE)
