Water Hygiene Engineer – Covering London (Essex & Kent)
£28,000–£34,000 + van + training + overtime + benefits
Environmental and Mechanical Compliance specialists are growing their water division and currently require a Water Hygiene Engineer to cover both commercial and residential sites carrying our planned maintenance work on long‑term projects.
Typical work will cover weekly, monthly, quarterly, & annual checks including:- TMV remedial work
- Descaling
- Disinfecting tanks
- Resampling
- Water hygiene services
- Temperature checks
- Planned preventative measures including risk assessments and tap temperature checks
- 3+ years in a Water Hygiene position
- Experience ideally on both residential and commercial sites
- Full driving licence
- Ability to cover London and surrounding areas
- Legionella Awareness
- City & Guilds Legionella Control in Water Systems
- L8 / ACOP Legionella Compliance
- Cold Water Storage Tank Inspection & Cleaning
- Hot Water System Management
- TMV (Thermostatic Mixing Valve) Servicing & Maintenance
- Chlorination & Disinfection of Water Systems
- Closed System Sampling & Testing
