Position: Mechanical Shift Engineer (Permanent)
Mechanical Shift Engineer – City of London – Up to £53,000
A leading FM provider is seeking a skilled Mechanical Shift Engineer to join their team on a continental shift at a high-specification commercial site in the City of London. This is a static role focused on mechanical and general building services maintenance.
Responsibilities for the Mechanical Shift Engineer:

* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical and HVAC systems

* Perform fault finding, repairs, and plant room checks across key assets

* Support statutory compliance tasks (e.g. water treatment, pressure systems, ventilation)
Requirements for the Mechanical Shift Engineer:

* Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or Plumbing (or equivalent)

* Minimum 2 years' experience in a mechanically-biased building services role

* Strong understanding of health & safety and statutory compliance

* Knowledge of pumps, motors, valves, AHUs, FCUs, and water systems
