Senior Electrical Engineer

My Client, a market leading Building Services and Sustainability Consultancy, is searching for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join and manage their team in Central London.  

This innovative consultancy specialise in electrical and building services designs for varied residential, commercial and industrial developments, office blocks, student accommodation and hospitality (mixed use developments).  

You will join a supportive and friendly team based in London and you will liaise across design teams, architectural teams and engineers on site to ensure designs are adhered to and delivered to the clients’ requirements.

As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you’ll play a key role in bringing diverse projects to life, from concept through to completion. Your responsibilities will include:

Delivering high-quality electrical designs across mixed use development projects.  
Engaging in all stages of the project lifecycle and liaise with multidisciplinary teams including MEP design teams, architectural teams and site engineers.  
Producing technical drawings and calculations for electrical systems and lighting using Dialux, Relux, Amtech and AutoCAD.

Contributing to sustainable design solutions and low-carbon strategies.  
Support design teams, offering guidance and support when needed.
Check technical designs to ensure client requirements are met.

Supporting site installations and ensuring design compliance.
Representing the company at project meetings and client interactions suggesting innovative and sustainable solutions for developments and to ensure projects are delivered to time and budget.

Candidates are required to have a strong academic background in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering and experience working for   UK based Consultancy completing electrical designs using Dialux, Relux and/or Amtech.

You will also be required to have a working knowledge of British/European standards, RIBA stages 2-4, Building Regulations and BREEAM.
