Job Description

You will work on Sizewell C, one of the most significant sustainable energy projects in the country, at the forefront of the UK’s climate change agenda and energy policy. When completed, the project will supply dependable low‑carbon electricity to 6 million homes for at least 60 years.
TheOpportunity
Launch your business career with our customised 2‑year training programme. You will rotate through placements designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to succeed, learning from experts and gaining valuable experience. Throughout the programme you will have the support of a career line manager, a placement manager, mentor, and buddy.
What You Will Be DoingAs a Nuclear Business Graduate at Sizewell C you will gain hands‑on experience, develop technical and professional skills, and contribute to projects that support the UK’s journey to net zero. Placement opportunities will be determined by business need and may include Corporate Strategy, Treasury, Economic Regulation, Energy, Environment and Sustainability, and working with the UK Government.
Your Work LocationYou will be based at the Sizewell C office in London, with placements of up to 6 months, and may need to travel to other locations to support other business units and expand your knowledge of the nuclear industry.
Who You AreApplicants must have, or be expecting to achieve, a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (2:2 or higher) in Finance, Business, Economics, Politics, Energy & Sustainability, or Data Analytics. We seek people with a genuine interest in nuclear energy, a passion for sustainability, and an open‑mind, flexible, agile mindset. A strategic mindset that brings innovative ideas, effective interpersonal and communication skills, and high ethical behaviour, integrity, humility, and character are essential.

Additional InformationJoin the team at Sizewell C. Our vision is to Lead The Way On Nuclear. Sizewell C is one of the world’s biggest new mega projects, building a 3.2‑GW nuclear power station on the Suffolk coast. When built, it will generate low‑carbon electricity for at least 60 years, supplying over 6 million homes and supporting around 7 % of the UK’s current electricity needs.
Sizewell C will be funded under the Regulated Asset Base model. Our largest shareholder is the UK Government, alongside equity partners La Caisse, Centrica, EDF and Amber Infrastructure. We operate within a complex stakeholder environment, engaging with government bodies, regulators, local communities, supply chain partners, and international collaborators.
