Due to increased workload and securing new clients within the Education and Data Centre sector, we have a new opportunity for a Senior Consultant, specialising in BIM, to join our team.

We work holistically with our wider business to provide an environment for innovation and deliver success on projects where BIM is core to the delivery and operation of assets. We lead the BIM process at organisational, programme and project levels through:
- Discovery and understanding
- Client adoption strategy and strategic project setup
- Project and programme BIM execution planning
- BIM implementation, information management and supply chain management
- BIM compliance checking and data verification
The individual will work alongside a highly skilled team delivering and implementing Information Management from strategy level to project level for global clients. Current openings focus on the Education and Data Centre sectors; sector experience is favourable but not required.
Key Responsibilities- Strategy Development: Capture client requirements to design and author bespoke BIM strategies and workflows that align with industry best practices, including documentation necessary for contracts and appointments.
- Implementation Leadership: Manage the rollout of BIM methodologies across programs and projects, ensuring successful adoption by clients, design teams, and contractors.
- Technical Assurance: Conduct structured model reviews, clash detection, and data analysis to mitigate risks and ensure delivery against project requirements.
- Stakeholder Management: Facilitate workshops and interface with project partners to communicate strategies and act as an ambassador for digital services.
- Commercial & Business Support: Create bid proposals, write detailed reports, and contribute to the development of internal documentation and quality processes.
- Team Supervision: Lead and manage teams by peer‑reviewing deliverables, supporting colleagues, and maintaining high quality standards.
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 3+ years in a BIM Manager role, preferably with strong understanding of consultancy environments and project life cycles.
- Standards Compliance: Deep knowledge of BS EN ISO 19650, the Information Management Initiative Framework (IMI Framework / UK BIM Framework), and other industry standards.
- 3D Authoring: Proficiency in leading 3D modelling software such as Revit or Archi
CAD. - Coordination & Validation: Expert use of clash detection and model checking tools like Solibri and Navisworks.
- Common Data Environment (CDE) Experience: Strong experience of CDE platforms such as ACC, Asite & Viewpoint.
- Reporting: Proficiency with data visualisation tools like Power BI or Tableau to create dashboards and interpret project metrics.
- Data Verification: Ability to analyse and validate model data, including understanding of COBie data requirements.
- Emerging Technology: Understanding of the wider technology market to support client delivery and drive research and development.
- Stakeholder Communication: Ability to facilitate workshops, act as a digital ambassador, and interface effectively with clients, design teams, and contractors.
- Leadership & Influence: Proven capability to lead teams, champion digital services, and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
- Critical Thinking: Proactive in identifying risks, proposing mitigations, and analysing complex requirements.
- Inquisitive Mindset: Strong desire to research emerging technology and continuously learn new software skills.
- Autonomy & Drive: Works independently with minimal supervision, self‑motivated to meet deadlines.
- Team Collaboration: Works effectively within diverse, multi‑skilled teams to achieve shared project goals.
Preferably educated to degree level or with sufficient demonstrable workplace experience to satisfy the role requirements.
