Overview

Early Years Education Worker – Under 3’s Provision

Contract:

Permanent.

Hours:

Full-time 35 hours per week AYR. Salary:

Robert Blair School is a one form entry primary school with Under 3’s provision situated close to Caledonian Road in Islington. We provide childcare and Early Years Education for babies and toddlers from 6 months to three years and are open for 49 weeks a year. The majority of the children move into our Nursery Provision. We prioritise an environment that is inviting, stimulating and safe, where children can develop independence and enjoy learning experiences both indoors and in our outdoor areas.

Responsibilities
  • Support and work closely with the Scale 5 Early Years Educators and the Senior Early Years Educator.
  • Assist in the daily running of educational activities and play a key part in providing a positive and secure relationship for children and their families.
  • Contribute to a play-based learning approach and support the development of independence in line with the EYFS framework.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and development of young children.
  • Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice for babies and young children.
  • Passionate about supporting children to reach their full potential through an enriched and creative curriculum.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people; DBS checks and excellent references required.
