Teacher of French

About the Role

Harris Academy Bermondsey is seeking a passionate and dedicated French teacher to join our team on a temporary supply basis. The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality French lessons, assess and mark student work, and support individual learning plans. You will be working with students across Years 7–13, fostering engagement, progress, and a love of language learning.

• Plan and deliver engaging French lessons to students in Years 7–13.
• Assess and mark student work promptly and accurately.
• Support individual learning plans to help students achieve their full potential.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.

• Qualified Teacher status or equivalent experience.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Commitment to high academic standards and student achievement.
• Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and parents.
• Experience teaching French across multiple year groups is desirable.
