The Clink Charity is looking for a Head of Training and Impact to lead our life‑changing hospitality training programmes in prisons and communities. This is a rare opportunity to use your industry training expertise to deliver City & Guilds qualifications, inspire learners and help transform lives through the power of hospitality.
LocationHerne Hill, South London (Hybrid – minimum 3 days office/project sites)
ContractPermanent, Full Time (9am–5pm)

About The Clink CharityFounded in 2009, The Clink Charity works to reduce re‑offending by delivering hospitality and horticulture training to people in prison and in the community.
Our programmes provide learners with professional skills, confidence and nationally recognised City & Guilds qualifications, helping them build a positive future after release.
To date we have trained 5,000+ learners and delivered over 2,600 qualifications. Our projects include training kitchens in prisons, horticulture programmes, a commercial bakery, and catering through Clink Events, which delivers events at venues such as the Guildhall, Science Museum, Cutty Sark and Kew Gardens.
The RoleWe are seeking an experienced and inspiring Head of Training and Impact to lead and oversee all training programmes across The Clink Charity.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for ensuring the quality, delivery and impact of our hospitality, catering and horticulture training programmes both inside prisons and in the community.
Working closely with our project leads across restaurants, bakery, gardens and youth programmes, you will drive excellence in training delivery, quality assurance and evaluation.
The role will also play a key part in launching a new youth café training programme in Guildford, supporting young people aged 16–25 who are not currently in education, employment or training (NEET).

- Ensure high standards of quality assurance, assessment and verification
- Support and line manage project leads across multiple sites
- Monitor programme outcomes and demonstrate the impact of our work
- Build partnerships with stakeholders including MoJ, HMPPS and referral agencies
- Contribute to programme development and the expansion of new projects
You will bring strong hospitality industry experience combined with a passion for training and developing others.
You might have- Led hospitality training within a college, cookery school or FE setting
- Delivered City & Guilds qualifications
- Built a career as a Chef or hospitality professional and moved into education or leadership
