A large secondary school based in Hillingdon is looking for a Physics Teacher
.
The school is seeking someone to start in April 2026 on a long‑term contract until at least July 2026

This position is full time
, although the school may consider strong part‑time applicants
. Working hours are 8:30am to 3:30pm
.
Salary will match Outer London MPS/UPS depending on experience.
The school has available parking spaces for staff.
Physics Teacher – Hillingdon, LondonDeliver engaging and high‑quality Physics lessons across Key Stages, helping students develop strong scientific understanding and analytical skills.
Encourage curiosity and enthusiasm for science by making complex physics concepts accessible and relevant to real‑world applications.
Plan creative and structured lessons that challenge students of all abilities and support strong academic progress.
Use a range of teaching strategies and practical experiments to support learning and deepen student understanding.
Monitor student progress through assessment and provide targeted feedback to support improvement.
Create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and exploring ideas.
Support students with exam preparation and coursework where appropriate.
Contribute to the wider science department and support a collaborative teaching culture.
