8 Month Fixed Term Contract, Full Time
This is a fixed term contract starting from March 2026 with the possibility to extend. South Thames Colleges Group is looking for a dedicated Job Coach to support NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) young people aged 16‑24 in accessing employment, training, and mentoring opportunities. We are looking for hard‑working and collaborative people who can join our team and help challenge our students to achieve and progress.
Responsibilities- Provide one‑to‑one job coaching and deliver tailored employability support, working closely with employers, referral partners, and agencies such as the DWP to identify and secure opportunities.
- Assess barriers to employment, develop strategies to help young people overcome them.
- Maintain effective communication with the Project Coordinator and wider team to ensure all activities align with project goals.
- Deliver excellent interpersonal engagement to empower young people to achieve sustainable outcomes.
- Proven experience in job coaching, preferably within youth engagement or employability sectors.
- Strong understanding of the challenges faced by NEET young people and the strategies needed to support them.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, a proactive approach to recruitment and engagement.
- Commitment to empowering young people to achieve sustainable outcomes.
- Successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references, an online search, and proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
