Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting for a SEN Primary Class Teacher to join SEND Specialist Primary School in Wandsworth, Southwest London.

• Daily Rate: £206‑£250

• Plan and deliver differentiated lessons across core subjects (English, Maths, Science) and foundation subjects, adapted for pupils with SEND.
• Implement individualized learning programmes aligned with pupils EHCPs and school curriculum.
• Support pupils with ASD, PMLD, SEMH, and complex needs, using inclusive strategies and sensory approaches.
• Promote communication and interaction skills, incorporating AAC, Makaton, and assistive technologies where appropriate.
• Teach personal, social, and life skills to foster independence and emotional well‑being.
• Monitor and assess progress against SMART targets and EHCP outcomes, maintaining accurate records.
• Work collaboratively with TAs, therapists, and families to ensure a holistic approach to learning.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, SEND statutory requirements, and school policies.

• Essential: QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Essential: Proven experience teaching pupils with SEND in a primary setting.
• Essential: Strong knowledge of EHCP processes and differentiation strategies.
• Skills: Classroom management tailored to diverse needs;
  Ability to use AAC and assistive technology.
• Desirable: Knowledge of Makaton, TEACCH, and sensory integration strategies.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Child and Adult DBS (Enhanced Disclosure).
• Right to work in the UK.
• 2 Professional References.
