SEN Teaching Assistant - Year 1, 1:1 Support

£100 per day, Full time (8.30am to 4.30pm)

North London / Enfield

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a pupil in Year 1 with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) diagnosis and speech language needs in a primary school located in Camden.

This is a full‑time position and would suit an aspiring Speech and Language Therapist looking to gain valuable experience in a supportive and rewarding environment.

• Supporting the Year 1 pupil with ASD and speech language needs in their learning and development
• Providing 1:1 support to the pupil as required
• Working with the class teacher and other staff members to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Assisting with the planning and delivery of lessons and activities
• Supporting the pupil's emotional wellbeing and mental health
• Liaising with parents and carers to provide updates on progress

• Experience working with children with ASD and speech language needs
• A passion for working with children and a desire to make a positive impact on their lives
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work well in a team and independently
• Patience, resilience, and a positive attitude
