Maternity Cover – KS2 Teacher (Years 4–6)

2 terms (with the possibility of a third). We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 teacher to join our team on a maternity cover contract starting in April. The role will involve teaching a mixed KS2 class of pupils in Years 4–6 and will be based at our primary site.

The ideal candidate will be:
Teacher of the Deaf or a qualified teacher with experience of working with deaf children. The ability to use British Sign Language (BSL) would be a strong advantage. This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a supportive environment and make a meaningful difference to pupils’ learning and development.

• Qualified KS2 teacher.
• Experience of, or a strong interest in, working with deaf pupils.
• Can use BSL, or is keen to develop BSL skills.
• Committed, adaptable, and passionate about inclusive education.
