Position: Complex Needs Teacher. Job Education & Training Jobs

We are working with a Complex Needs SEND school based in Peckham who are looking to appoint a SEND Teacher for term 5 and 6.

The school caters for approximately 90 students aged from 5‑19 years old. Students have high complex needs and are typically supported by a 1:1 support member of staff.

Where this school students who are over the age of 18‑ teacher need to have a child and adult DBS.

The curriculum is free flowing and includes and a lot of sensory and visual learning aspects, allowing teachers to be creative.

Class sizes are small and have around 4‑6 students with a minimum of 4 teaching assistants.

The school are looking to appoint a teacher for term 5/6 and then transfer the teacher onto a permanent role.

Qualifications & Requirements

QTS
Previous complex needs SEND experience
Be able to work full time—hours are 08:30‑16:00
Be positive and a team player

These role will be paid to scale and include SEND allowance.
