We are seeking to appoint an exceptional and strategic leader to become our Head of Computing, leading the department through its next ambitious phase of development within our innovative school.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced practitioner with the vision, expertise and drive to shape a future‑focused curriculum. You will provide clear academic and strategic leadership across Computing, ensuring consistently high standards of teaching, learning and outcomes at all key stages. You will teach across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, while leading the continued development of a coherent and ambitious curriculum that reflects the rapidly evolving fields of Computing & IT.

We currently offer GCSE Computing at KS4 and Level 3 BTEC qualifications in Business and IT. The successful candidate will be committed to curriculum innovation, raising attainment, and ensuring that students are exceptionally well prepared for further study and employment.

As a Head of Department, you will play a key role in driving whole‑school priorities, working collaboratively with other leaders to strengthen digital literacy across the curriculum. You will lead, develop and support colleagues within the department, fostering a culture of high expectations, professional growth and continuous improvement.
