SEND Teaching Assistant

London/ temporary / £95 - 105 per day Dependant on Expierence

Teacher Active is currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant to support a pupil in a welcoming and inclusive primary school in East London
. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and making a meaningful difference in a child’s educational journey.

Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with SEND to help them access the curriculum

Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual learning plans

Adapt learning activities to suit the pupil’s needs and learning style

Support the child’s social, emotional, and behavioural development

Encourage independence, confidence, and engagement in classroom activities

Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
