Glenbrook North High School’s Mathematics department is seeking an Instructional Assistant – General Instruction. The assistant will work collaboratively with students, staff, and parents to support all aspects of the daily instructional program within the school and community setting. Responsibilities include providing individual or small group instruction under the direct or indirect supervision of a teacher or other certified personnel.

• State Paraprofessional License (60+ college credit hours or successful completion of the Paraprofessional test) OR Substitute Teacher License.
• Experience in Algebra I/II and Geometry preferred.
• Experience in an educational environment preferred.
• Endorsement in the content area preferred.
• Minimum of 15 credit hours in the content area or a Bachelor’s degree equivalent to the content area (e.g., IA in Math with a Bachelor’s in Accounting).
