The role: We are seeking Lecturers to teach across undergraduate levels as part of the BSc (Hons) Computing programme. Flexibility is required: weekdays, evenings, weekends.

What you'll be doingAs a Lecturer in Computing at Global Banking School, you will deliver modules based around the three main themes:
Technology, Software, and Data. You will develop comprehensive course materials and support student learning, keeping up to date with developments in the field.
- Plan, deliver, and assess student work to meet learning outcomes.
- Develop, update, and improve course materials.
- Use a variety of teaching methods and materials.
- Engage in staff development activities, peer observations, meetings, and administrative duties.
- Stay current with developments in your field and student support practices.
- Work toward objectives for attendance, completion, satisfaction, and progression.
- Master's degree in a relevant subject area (PhD desirable).
- Previous UK HE lecturing experience in the wider subject area.
- Extensive knowledge of at least two of: programming and software development, web development, database systems, cloud computing, networking, cybersecurity, IoT, emerging technologies, business IT systems, IT management, AI/ML, operating systems, UI/UX.
- Experience supervising student work and providing support and feedback.
- Experience in accurate reporting and maintaining thorough, organised student records.
- Ability to work under pressure, plan, prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-working skills.
- Ability to work with diverse groups of people.
- Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent teaching qualification (or commitment to enroll on a teaching programme within the probationary period).
- Experience designing/developing academic or professional education programmes.
- 25 days annual leave plus 8 public holidays.
