Teaching Assistant (SEND)
Location: Kingston upon Thames, Greater London, England
Job Type: Full-Time (Monday - Friday)
Salary: £450 - £480 Per week
Benefits: PAYE
Job Duties:- Assist in the implementation of individual education plans for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
- Support students in their learning activities both in group settings and on a one-to-one basis
- Provide assistance with personal care needs as required
- Help create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
- Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Experience working with children or individuals with SEND (in a school setting or personal experience)
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
Relevant qualification in Education or Special Educational Needs is desirable but not mandatory
Knowledge andSkills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Patience and empathy when working with students
- Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
- First Aid certification
- Full-Time hours, Monday to Friday
- Work within a school environment
- Potential for additional training and development opportunities
- Reduced Classes (7-9 students)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
