Lift Schools is one of the largest multi‑academy trusts in the country, made up of 58 primary, secondary and special schools, educating more than 33,000 pupils. With a clear objective of an excellent education for every child, every classroom, every day, we are recruiting a Regional English Lead to drive our standard of excellence across our South West Secondaries.
Your new roleReporting to Karl Sampson, Regional Executive Director for the South West, you will work closely with senior leadership and subject leadership teams to improve and raise standards within English across the South West secondaries. You will analyse performance data, ensuring students are targeted for support, and work across the Trust to ensure consistency of subject quality and delivery. The role is jointly accountable for subject performance improvement, attainment and progress in English.
You will be responsible for planning, delivering and teaching high‑quality lessons, and for delivering intervention programmes that challenge and support subject teams to achieve stretching targets.
You will be a qualified teacher of English with recent CPD in the subject area and proven experience of subject leadership, including curriculum development with a sustained record of improvement using data analysis.
